We try to make the festival as environmentally friendly as possible. All food served inside the venue is from ecological produce.

The range of dishes varies from year to year. However, there are some eateries that come back year after year to Urkult.

The food area next the Sol scene has a vegan kitchen serving various vegan dishes. There is is also fresh pressed fruit juice, pancakes and falafels. At the stalls in the vicinity you can buy sweets, candy, coffee, tea, drinks and more.

There´s also Thai food, Samisk food from the indogenous peoples of northern Scandinavia. At Järnsta cafe you can buy refreshments. Or why not enjoy a snack, a coffee, a beer or a glass of wine at Café Colonial, whilst looking down at either the main stage or enjoying the panoramic view over the valley and river below.

Outside the venue, you can also buy other foods in different stalls and tents.

We sort all our rubbish and compostand we are so happy when you help and use the sorting stations. All cutlery, cups and plates used within the festival area are bio degradable.
