The Swedish duo 75öre creates music that is both boundless and deeply heartfelt. Drawing inspiration from classical music, rock, folk, and world music, they craft a cinematic and narrative soundscape that resonates with emotion. It’s a collaborative musical journey where just two instruments can evoke the depth and richness of an entire orchestra. Since their formation in 2003, 75öre has blurred the lines between genres and art forms, engaging in collaborations across theater, film, and circus. The year 2025 marks a new milestone with the release of their album Conversations, featuring newly written pieces alongside specially composed music for Eldnatten at Urkult. With a fearless and free-spirited approach to creation, 75öre — through cello and nyckelharpa — builds a sonic world where everyone can find something to connect with, regardless of background or musical taste. In addition to performing during this year’s opening ceremony, they will also present a beautiful concert at Ådals Lidens Church.
