Join Asmaa Hamzoui and her group Bnat Timbouktou on an inspiring journey of discovery into Gnawa culture. Participants in the course are introduced to Gnawa music and its history and are introduced to the instruments “guembri” and “qraqebs” The guembri is a three-stringed lute and the qraqebs is a castanet-like rhythm instrument made of iron. Prepare for a unique and captivating experience together with these amazing musicians! The course is held in English via interpreter.
