During the festival, dancers Sibusiso, Joanna and Theresa will share a taste of the intercultural performance YEBO YES!, where they combine the isiPantsula dance style with freestyle and club culture. Fast step sequences, rhythmic movements and precise group choreographies characterize the South African dance isiPantsula. The Pantsula subculture originated in the Sophiatown district of Johannesburg during the apartheid era, where it became a common expression and identity that united the country’s eleven ethnic groups. Look out for this energetic, fantastic dance show and tribute to the expressive power of Pantsula!
